Terms & Conditions

Last updated 31 May 2026 · Operated by mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd

Please read these Terms carefully. They are a binding agreement between you and mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd and they govern your use of Bhagyalekha. By accessing or using the service, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use Bhagyalekha.

The essentials, in plain words. Bhagyalekha is for entertainment and self-reflection only. It is not advice of any kind and not a prediction of your future. Credits and purchases are non-refundable. You use the service at your own discretion and risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law our liability to you is limited. Full detail is set out below.

1Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or otherwise using Bhagyalekha (the "App", the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. These Terms apply to every visitor, user, and customer of the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2Nature of the service — entertainment and reflection only

Bhagyalekha provides AI-generated readings inspired by the traditions of Vedic palmistry (Hast Rekha Shastra) and related practices. The Service exists for entertainment, cultural interest, and personal self-reflection only.

Readings, timelines, "chapters", daily reflections, remedies, and conversations with the Jyotishi guide are works of interpretation and creativity. They are not statements of fact, not predictions, and not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or applicable to you. They must never be relied upon as the basis for any decision.

Not professional advice. Nothing in the Service is, or is a substitute for, professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, health, legal, financial, investment, tax, relationship, career, or any other regulated or professional advice. Always seek the advice of an appropriately qualified professional for any such matter. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read in Bhagyalekha.

Not a crisis or mental-health service. Bhagyalekha is not a counselling, therapy, medical, emergency, or crisis service, and the Jyotishi guide is an AI, not a qualified professional. If you are in distress, struggling with your mental health, or in crisis, please contact a qualified professional, your local emergency services, or a recognised helpline immediately. Never rely on the Service, and never delay or avoid seeking professional help, in any urgent, serious, or sensitive situation.

3Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or submit images. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4Your account

You sign in using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that are used unlawfully, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, at our discretion and without liability to you.

5Credits, pricing and payments

6No refunds — all sales final

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Because credits unlock immediate access to digital content that is generated on demand, you acknowledge and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you are not entitled to a refund, cancellation, chargeback, or exchange for any purchased credits, whether used or unused, including where you are dissatisfied with a reading, disagree with its content, or no longer wish to use the Service.

Where you have a non-excludable statutory right to a refund under the law applicable to you, that right is unaffected; nothing in these Terms removes a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. You agree not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback in respect of a charge you authorised; doing so in bad faith is a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension of your account. If a genuine technical error causes credits to be lost or charged incorrectly, contact us at support@bhagyalekha.com and we will investigate in good faith.

7Palm images and consent

To generate a reading you choose to submit a photograph of your palm. By submitting an image you consent to it being captured by your device, transmitted to our AI processing infrastructure for the sole purpose of generating your reading, and stored securely so your reading history is available to you. You may delete your readings at any time from your history. You confirm that any palm image you submit is of your own hand, or that you have the explicit consent of the person whose hand it is. Handling of images is described in our Privacy Policy.

8Acceptable use

You agree not to:

9Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, the Bhagyalekha name and branding, and the structure and presentation of readings, is owned by mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and your readings for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10Assumption of risk and release

You acknowledge that you use Bhagyalekha voluntarily and that any reliance you place on any reading or content is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any decision you make or action you take, and to the fullest extent permitted by law you release mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any and all claims, demands, losses, or damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its content.

11Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any reading, interpretation, timeline, or remedy is accurate, reliable, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Any condition or warranty that would otherwise be implied is excluded to the maximum extent the law allows.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or for any distress, decision, or outcome, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any content, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred Indian Rupees (₹100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including submitting another person's palm image without consent; or (d) any decision or action you take based on the Service.

14Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for authentication, AI processing, payments, database, and hosting. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or policies of those providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

15Suspension, termination and changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including those on payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

16Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Before commencing any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@bhagyalekha.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days.

Class action waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and mFunnel Technologies Pvt Ltd agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. No arbitrator or court may consolidate more than one person’s claims or preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

Individual arbitration (where enforceable). Where you reside in the United States, or in any other jurisdiction in which pre-dispute arbitration agreements with consumers are enforceable, any dispute not resolved informally within thirty (30) days shall be finally resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court — except that either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court of competent jurisdiction. The class action waiver above applies to any such arbitration.

Your non-waivable rights are preserved. Nothing in these Terms — including the class action waiver, the arbitration provision, the limitation of liability, or the choice of India law — removes or limits any right or protection that the law of your country of residence grants you and does not permit to be waived. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the European Union or EEA, or India, you keep all mandatory consumer rights and protections (including, where applicable, the right to bring proceedings in your local courts and the benefit of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your local law). To the extent any provision of this section conflicts with those mandatory rights, those rights prevail and the rest of this section continues to apply.

17General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganisation or sale. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

18Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service.
